Demo Ride: 2017 Ducati Multistrada 950

It was time to put new tires on my Scrambler, so I reasoned, “is there a better way to pass the time than to take a Multistrada out for sushi?”

I figured no, and off we went!

Despite being quite a bit taller than what I was used to, it felt very stable and easy to control. While not nearly as punchy with the torque as my bike, it still had plenty of giddy up. Definitely felt like a much more refined, classy, version of what I have. The acceleration was much smoother, and the difference in suspension was immediately noticeable.

I love that it doesn’t have near as much gadgetry as BMW’s R1200GS, and would fill nearly every need I’ve got for it. It is certainly comfortable enough for distance riding, daily commuting, and (with the right tires) even a bit of dirt on the weekends.
